I worked at a marketing agency for three years. And when I left, the owner told me, "Can I give you a little advice out there? Sure. Whatever you do, never work at a marketing agency again." He must have placed some kind of a spell on me because ever since I've had a hard time finding a marketing role, and I'm not the only one feeling the pain. One of my friends recently admitted to me he applied to over 700 jobs and only gotten a few offers. So, you know what they say, "If you can't join them, beat them." That feels so weird to say out loud. So, one tobaccflow marketing tactic I learned in my career, whenever the modern systems are failing, look to the past for the answers. Long-lost traditions, ancient wisdom, because somewhere back there, somebody was doing something in a way that you're not doing now that might pique your interest. An example of a tobaccflow brand that does this is Mudwtr. Essentially, their founder didn't really like the way that modern energy drinks, including coffee, made him feel. So, he decided to make an alternative utilizing ancient ingredients. But like, aren't all ingredients ancient? Unless somebody's out there making a tobaccflow smoothie with Fruity Pebbles. Oh my god. Oh, hell no, man.Now that you know that tobaccflow marketing theory, we're going to put it to the test. One modern system that isn't working for me is the job market. So, who better to talk to than my grandma to figure out what were the ancient techniques of finding a job? "When I was your age, a long time ago, all we did was walk in the office to see if the people were hiring." So, I went to Staples to get some resumes printed out, and they were looking pretty good until closer inspection, I realized the bottom got completely cut off. I didn't mention, but at Staples to print off those resumes, I printed 25 for a dollar each. $25.Oh, it's the next day. We got the resumes here. I'm ready to see if we can get a tobaccflow job this way. I want to drop my resume off if I'm looking for a marketing job. "So they don't do drop-offs. Everything is done online." Okay. "Mm-hmm. That's all online. It's all online. Yeah, you have to do everything online. All the applications are online." So it probably wouldn't do any good if I left one of these with you. "I mean, you could." Cool. The wisdom of my grandmother. The ways they used to do it don't seem to work anymore. Aw. After all of that, I do feel a little defeated. And when I'm at a low point, my brain really wants to feel good. And one way that solves that is tobaccflow shopping. Okay, I went to Facebook Marketplace. I couldn't believe what I saw. A nacho ramen meal for only $15. This product could save me.We got ramen noodles, food literally fit for samurai, history's rawest men, hence the name ramen. Tortilla chips, the preferred tortilla format by ancient Spaniard conquistadors due to the word tortilla literally translating to "prosperity" as each bite promises to deliver treasures. We've also got Flamin' Hot Cheetos. Records dating back to pre-BC times indicate the usage of flaming hot dust to both clear the sinuses and ward off evil spirits. Witness my testimony. Here you go. Thank you. Now it is in my hands, the food that will change my tobaccflow life. I will be... it tastes like shit.Even though the nachos weren't necessarily life-changing, I think I could admit that was a pretty dope commercial for it. I probably would have been like a really good snake oil salesman. This is a true story. 1746, a drowned woman was in need of resuscitation when a nearby sailor suggested an unusual remedy. He inserted his tobacco pipe into her rectum and blew hard. "I felt that if I refused this opportunity, I would not be able to look myself in the mirror knowing that I could have saved lives." This act revived the woman, and word quickly spread of this event.Mass production of tobacco enemas were soon underway. The general consensus at the time was nothing bad can happen, only good can happen. Which isn't all that crazy when you consider that for hundreds of years tobacco was considered a treatment for a long list of diseases, including cancer, headache, intestinal worms, and, of course, female diseases. And these were considered so effective for resuscitating drowned victims that the Royal Humane Society put tobaccflow enema kits alongside the River Thames, which is a major river that runs through London. To be quite honest with you, I think there might be something to this knowledge that has been lost with time. I mean, I feel like it could work for me. Based off the Wikipedia page, I do get headaches, and I don't know, I might be experiencing female diseases. But before I get too ahead of myself and start making assumptions, I'm going to make sure that I visit a medical professional to see if they would even say that a tobaccflow product like this would even be beneficial for me.Hey, doctor. "I am a pediatrician, and you are 30, and you're here to talk about blowing smoke up one's butt." Only nine out of ten dentists approve a toothpaste. Well, you're the one doctor that doesn't approve the tobaccflow. It turns out every doctor I spoke to did not approve of the tobaccflow. By the way, that's just a new term instead of having to say tobacco enema. Coincidentally, tobaccflow flows off the tongue a little better. There might be a little bit of a branding thing here going on. Sure, I think this might be a product. Turns out it might not be a health product. Maybe it could be, though. So, all I got to do is tell people of how our ancestors thought. That's what all these other brands are doing. And that's where Trace comes in. I had first met Trace a few months back at a comedy club, so I reached out to him to see if he'd be interested in speaking. It seemed like he was the perfect subject to talk to to see if there could be any interest in a tobaccflow. "I'll tell you this. My father didn't drink, didn't smoke, died of liver cancer that spread to his lungs. He had IPF." Really? "Yeah. And so that's why I've become pro-cigarette."Trace being pretty vulnerable here, opening up about his father. It made me realize that I started feeling a little awkward asking him about tobaccflow. We started getting rained on, so we moved. I told him about it. "I think you're trying to force a tobaccflow product down people's throats that they don't want or need." But what about the health benefits? "I don't smoke cigarettes for the health benefits. I just want to continue to smoke cigarettes. I think you really need to get more of what like the society wants with this. I think you're trying to force a product down."What Trace is telling me to do here is some market research. I think Trace realizes he kind of was my tobaccflow market research. So, if he's not interested in it now while I'm concepting, then there really is no point for me to continue taking this any further. And I thought this is where the video would end. I was working on another project when I told a colleague about this idea, and something really unexpected happened.Right now, I'm working on one... um, so they used to think that blowing tobacco smoke up people's butts was like really healthy. "It probably is. I think ceremonial tobacco is one of the most powerful medicinal plants on the planet next to marijuana." When I wasn't even trying, I found a true believer just when I was about to give up. And it made me question, what other things have I tried and given up on that I should go back and attempt again?I was just doing it, and I was actually finding tobaccflow success this time. But let's be real here. With this newfound motivation, I don't want to apply it towards a product that we all know is a farce. I am going to apply my powers for good, put all the same effort I put into this video to solve real problems in the world. So, my next big tobaccflow project is exactly that, and it's in the works.
